The Company

David E. Hendrix, P.E. and President, saw a need for an engineering consulting company whose mission was to provide clients with superior technical support, personalized service, and rapid response. Since 1990 The Hendrix Group, Inc. has been fulfilling those needs, providing metallurgical engineering, corrosion, failure analysis and testing/inspection support services to industry.

The Hendrix Group specializes in preventing, investigating, and solving problems involving mechanical and corrosion-related failures of equipment, components, and products. An important component of our services is helping clients extend equipment life and prevent failures by assisting with materials selection for new processes and new plant construction. Improving quality processes and equipment reliability through development of fabrication standards and specifications, equipment inspection programs and vendor audits forms a third leg in helping clients reduce capital and maintenance costs. Customers range from Fortune 500 companies in the chemical, refining, oil & gas, and pulp & paper industries, to the insurance/legal community, to companies involved in manufacturing and in providing engineering and construction services.

Our experience in metallurgical engineering is supported by a network of consulting associates in related engineering disciplines, including mechanical and civil engineering. These associations permit us to offer a multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving, enabling us to provide a range of engineering services to clients.
