"galvanic corrosion"

Question:

"I'm building a copper roof over a bay window on the north side of my house. I want to secure a copper sheet/shingles to galvanized steel. To avoid corrosion, what type of screws can I use? Steel,zinc-plated,black-finish,or stainless.Copper rivets or self-sealing stainless steel are definite possibilities also."

Answer:
